Republic reports confirm that Havoc elements destroyed multiple CIS convoys, severing the flow of droid reinforcements, munitions, and field supplies moving between occupied population centers.

With the convoy network in disarray, Havoc Company pushed directly into several CIS-held towns and established Republic occupation positions inside them. What had served as a chain of Separatist-controlled waypoints was turned into a series of broken staging grounds, denying enemy formations the shelter and road access they had relied upon before Uppercut began.

The advance culminated in the elimination of the operation's designated high-value target: tactical droid TA-62, known by the identifier "Vector." Republic officers describe Vector as a frontline tactical coordinator whose presence had been confirmed near the collapsing logistics corridor.

Why a frontline tactical coordinator was personally directing logistics strategy remains unknown. Intelligence officials are examining whether Vector had been reassigned after earlier CIS command losses, whether the convoys carried material of unusual importance, or whether the droid was coordinating a wider operation that Republic forces have not yet uncovered.

Whatever the answer, Vector's destruction has deprived the CIS of both a battlefield strategist and a commander with direct knowledge of the region's supply network. Military analysts caution, however, that the tactical droid's unusual assignment may be evidence that the convoys were supporting more than routine occupation forces.

While Havoc Company drove through one region, 597th Thranta Company was fighting in another to reach a Republic Research Expedition team caught behind the Separatist advance. Thranta elements pushed toward the expedition's last reported position under hostile conditions as contact with the research team deteriorated.

The rescue force arrived too late to save most of the expedition. Republic command confirms that CIS troops killed the majority of the team before Thranta Company could secure the site. The attack does not appear to have been indiscriminate: Separatist forces specifically removed three surviving expedition members and transported them off-world.

The identities and fields of expertise of the three abducted researchers remain restricted. Their deliberate capture has raised immediate questions about what the expedition discovered, what knowledge the prisoners possess, and where the CIS intended to take them after leaving the planet.

Thranta Company secured the surviving Republic position and the remains of the expedition site, but officials have not released a final casualty count. Search, intelligence, and recovery efforts are continuing, with command now treating the three missing members as prisoners taken in a targeted Separatist extraction.

The contrast inside Operation: Uppercut is severe. In one region, Havoc Company broke convoys, occupied enemy-held towns, and eliminated a high-value tactical droid. In another, Thranta Company fought toward a rescue only to find that the CIS had already murdered most of the people it was sent to save and carried three chosen captives beyond immediate Republic reach.

A verified blockade would threaten movement to and from the system and could signal that the Separatists are attempting to exploit Republic attention while the consequences of Uppercut are still unfolding.

And is the reported pressure around Ryloth the beginning of another Separatist move, or only the shadow of one awaiting confirmation?
